It started off Saturday night at mom and dad Mosier's. We enjoyed a cook out, egg hunt, egg dying and just hanging out with family! Cassie was home and had my camera for most of the day-here are a few things she captured.
He is at the age where he KNOWS his birthday is coming up and he HATES that his friends Chloe and Jordan have birthdays a couple of weeks before his because he gets so confused!
I am having the best time planning this party and I think it will be fun for all ages!

I will give you some hints as to what his theme is:

A superhero who drives a certain mobile and has a side kick with a bird name.

)

DUH NU NU NU NU NU NU NU BATMAN!!!

which cracks us up because he has never see any of the Batman movies and has only caught a few batman cartoons on t.v. He DID watch a very old school Batman and Robin Movie that we caught on STARZ one day.

No, not this one:

This one:

He cracks up at the line "Holy Halloween, Batman!"

He occasionally throws in thet fact that he wants Spiderman too so we will see what shakes out.
All I know is that it will be fun and entertaining and I am praying for nice weather that day !
I hope to see you there! Now I am off to do laundry or dishes.The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-62366667804084067542011-04-05T11:00:00.000-07:002011-04-05T11:02:44.700-07:00Spring Awakening

We did get an offer on our home and are now just waiting for the buyers to sell their house. It is exciting but daunting for sure! It is so hard to remember to "give it to Him" because He knows what is in the cards, even though I know that...it is hard for me to let that happen especially when I am the most impatient person in the world. The good news is that we have options and we have each other! That is all that matters. I am just praying for a quick answer and a good outcome.

In the meantime, I am focusing all of my energy on our children and the new kids that joined my little daycare group. So far it has been a positive thing. It has been a lot of work and a lot of adjustment but there is more laughing and learning than crying!

Finley Scott Mosier was born last weekend and will join us in approximately 6-8 weeks! The kids are excited to have another cousin and I am thrilled to be having a baby in the house again. The baby in the house will be 3 in a month (Beckett) and the daycare baby of the house(Chloe) is 2 this week! Rylee likes to dress up and pretend to present awards when award show are on. This time she got really into for the Oscars. We painted our nails. Red, purple and yellow. She put on a fancy dress and shoes and we drank sparking grape juice! Here are some pics of our fun filled night :)The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-86785714526571049562011-02-08T10:55:00.001-08:002011-02-08T10:59:06.101-08:00Flat StanleyI bought the kids the book "Flat Stanley" by Jeff Brown and they loved it instantly! It is about a normal boy named Stanley Lambchop who gets flattened ( but unharmed) after his bulletin board fell on top of him.
He gets to enter rooms by going under the doors, he even gets mailed to California for vacation. He is a kite for his brother, Arthur and nabs some art thieves at the Museum of Art!

Stanley's adventures left smiles on all 4 kids faces. Their imaginations were definitely hard at work!

I decided to read up on the "Flat Stanley Project" online. Instead of mailing a Flat Stanley to a pen pal, the kids wanted to make a Flat Rylee, Beckett, Kenzie and Chloe to mail out!

Flat Mackenzie and Flat Chloe will be going to see Aunt Cassie and Emma in New Jersey for a week. While there, Cassie will take them everywhere and send them back with pictures and a little letter about their adventures!

Flat Rylee and Flat Beckett are going to see Uncle Brent for a week because apparently they think a place that is 1.5 hours away is pretty adventurous! More than that, I think they know that Brent and his friends are pretty entertaining and that Flat Rylee and Flat Beckett will be anything but bored.

The kids had so much fun coloring and choosing what they wanted their flat selves to look like.

Stay tuned ....The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-58713478432179693432011-02-08T10:55:00.000-08:002011-02-08T10:55:28.682-08:00THE FLAT 4!Aaaaannnnnnd heeeeerrrre theeeeyyyy aaaaarrrreeee!
Flat Rylee, Flat Mackenzie, Flat Chloe and Flat Beckett ready to MAIL off into the sunset! We are off to the post office to send them on their way!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-85733968220800387572011-02-08T10:46:00.000-08:002011-02-08T10:55:43.894-08:00Which is Which and Who is Who?Can you guess who these Flat People are?

I'll give you a hint ...
1.) The first little lady loves dancing, drawing, books and sparkle. She's a big sister with a big love for kittens!
2.) The littlest lady in our "group" loves her Bear-Bear and can talk in sentences now! She may be little but she is usually the star of the show.
3.)The third Flat is the only boy most days but doesn't mind because he is the loudest! He loves Batman and balls too!
It's pajama day at Pre-school for Rylee and Mackenzie.
They have been looking forward to this day. Rylee has fussed over which pajamas she will wear, which stuffed animal and blanket she will bring. And, she requested a flashlight too because "everyone is bringing one." It made me flash forward to when she is 13 for a minute but I quickly snapped back to reality. Thank the LORD.

So, she's ready for her big day. Pillow pet, blanket, flashlight and Fancy Nancy in hand ( in lieu of her American Girl Dolls). I think they are ready to go!
What a fun day. I think I will declare every Friday a pajama day...for myself.The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-49311060355329410752011-01-14T07:46:00.000-08:002011-01-14T07:47:14.259-08:00Kickin it Old School<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 267px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBv-2H9wgI/AAAAAAAAAUI/8UHA1bzSOyE/s320/011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562068665274057218" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBv-bOeTuI/AAAAAAAAAUA/3zw5Dyn0p0Q/s320/009.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562068658053598946" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 288px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBv-M5eADI/AAAAAAAAAT4/GOLqgukEO6k/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562068654207402034" />The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-52345098345392255342011-01-14T06:04:00.000-08:002011-01-14T06:26:03.763-08:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 170px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBctN9ykeI/AAAAAAAAATw/TzXB7rlndHI/s320/004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562047471715258850" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 139px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBcs-pQYxI/AAAAAAAAATo/ycmFThhwoLM/s320/003.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562047467602600722" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 295px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBcsLFVDfI/AAAAAAAAATg/fjw4IUhoVIo/s320/001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562047453761703410" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 212px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TTBcsMCuT6I/AAAAAAAAATY/wqY0c7hyXbY/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562047454019211170" />
Happy New year! ( two weeks late) and Happy Birthday to Brent who is 25 today!

Last week in Rylee's book bag I found a slip from Miss Marca about how Rylee will be giong to Kindergarten this year. How did that happen? How did it become 2011 and how is my baby girl 5? Ahhh! What was even more shocking was the application we got yesterday that I am to fill out to sign Baby Beckett up for Miss Marca's preschool class this fall too. It will be a bittersweet August and September. I know they are ready I just don't think I am!

Anyway, the pictures I posted above are actually drawings done by Rylee last week. Her first and favorite stuffed animal is Ella the elephant. She got her when she was still in my belly and has slept with her every night since she was born. It used to play music that would lull her to sleep in her crib but after many years and many nights her music doesn't play anymore but she is still loved and held very snuggly to Rylee every night :) She drew a picture of her the other day and I just had to frame it! Brinkley the dog is the stuffed animal that Beckett sleeps with every night and Rylee drew him for Beckett to hang up in his room too!

The other picture is of the pom-poms we made the other night. The 100th anniversary of the McLean County Tournament is coming up this weekend and the first round is played at TVHS. Rylee requested blue and gold pom-poms and we decided to make some together to cheer on Austin Schenkel and the Vikings at the game Saturday. We will try to make some in maroon and gold soon too!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-5004980965671668462010-12-30T10:01:00.001-08:002010-12-30T10:08:22.124-08:00Will the real Taylor Swift please stand up?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TRzKUoOd1lI/AAAAAAAAATQ/KiIjniTcrG0/s320/004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556538496012637778" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TRzKUSkiBZI/AAAAAAAAATI/JmaW8-FWZ14/s320/003.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556538490199606674" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 137px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TRzKTxICVhI/AAAAAAAAATA/xIupEpWOR6o/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556538481221719570" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 190px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TRzKTg74pJI/AAAAAAAAAS4/39paWQ0ATFo/s320/001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556538476875785362" />
Taylor Swift stopped by our house yesterday to sign autographs. Both the kids were old enough to really get in to the whole Christmas season this year! We started our Christmas weekend off by packing up and spending the night at "Ya Ya's" house Thursday night. We met Greg, Brent and his dog Sloan there and had a nice time just watching Christmas specials on t.v., eating, talking and laughing! Friday morning the kids woke up bright and early and we pigged out on Krispy Creme donuts while mom started cooking the Christmas lunch feast. Present time was especially fun for the kids, of course! Rylee's favorite gift at Ya ya's was her American Girl Doll, Ruthie Smithens. Ruthie is Kit's best friend so she was very excited. Beckett loved his new scooter, nerf gun and wrestling guys! Just when we thought the excitement was over who should show up but the big man in red! That's right...Santa Clause came and we all sat on his lap. He gave us all a little gift to "hold us over until Christmas Morning" The kids were in awe of course! It was a great way to end a great celebration :) Later we went to Grandma and Grandpa Tractors house to celebrate with the Mosier side! We got to spend time with K.J. and the cousins even sat for a cute picture together. We opened presents first and Rylee was done in a matter of minutes because she was too excited to wait! She got some clothes for her AG dolls and camping stuff too! I cannot tell you how cute that stuff is! We will have a lot of fun playing with it! She also got a Dora Dollhouse and some new clothes, books, pajamas and legos just to name a few! Beckett's favorite gift by far was the remote control gator Grandpa picked out for him! I don't know who had more fun with it Josh, Todd, Beckett or Grandpa Rex :) It was great to see the reaction on Beckett's face when he opened it up! Josh got it on video and it is so sweet! After a wonderful dinner of soups and snacks we packed up to go to the Christmas Eve service at the church. The kids were both in it and a lot of our family showed up to watch them--even though it was blizzard like outside!
Rylee and Beckett both had a line to say into the microphone and they did so well!

Rylee: We tie our presents in ribbon like Jesus ties us in his love! Beckett: We LOVE Jesus
After that though, they had to get into costumes. Rylee was an Angel Beckett a sheep. But he was one tired little lamb and didn't want to go back up in front of everyone. So he sat with us in the pew and watched the rest of the program.
Christmas morning the kids got up and saw there specials that daddy had been building them in the garage. They each got a HUGE trunk to use for toys, games, blankets whatever they wanted. They thought these were pretty neat and we have them filled up already! Santa brought Rylee Roller skates ( and a helmet and pads) and she has been zipping around the house in them ever since! Beckett got the bat cave, Batman and Iron man that he asked for and has enjoyed playing with that these last few days.
After we took naps we headed over to Mamaw's for Christmas dinner with the Wyatt family. We had a lot of food, fun and laughter there too! We are so blessed to have such a great family! The love was definitely felt throughout the whole weekend. I am sad that Christmas is over because we love getting everyone together! We had a great Holiday and we love you all! I hope that this video works! If you fast forward to about 5:20 in you will see Beckett getting his Gator and BOY WAS HE EXCITED!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-77562491458521617142010-12-14T14:19:00.001-08:002010-12-14T14:30:28.182-08:00Rylee wants to T-Y-P-ERYLEE MERRY CHRISTMAS
I DID A PROGRAM AT THE CHJURCH AND I WAS AN ANGEL. It keeps us on our toes too because we don't want the mess to clean up! It certainly helps me to remind him to use the potty.

This is day 4 and yesterday was the first day he came to me and said when he had to go potty which was AWESOME! He got up Tuesday at 4 a.m. and used the potty then went back to bed. ... This morning he woke up at 6 a.m. and we sat him on the potty and he went again! He has woken up dry every night! It's so great! I think it is finally catching on! He has had a few accidents but we are so proud of him!

One funny story that he will hate me for later:
He likes to sit backwards on the potty. Both of our moms say they did this for their boys so I tried it and it worked like magic because A.) He can see what he is doing and B.) It doesnt spray pee everywhere ;)
Today he sat and started to pee and he said " I have a hole, Mom will you fix it!?!" He finally figured out where his pee was comnig from so I guess thats a good thing :)
I just had to share that with all of you!

p.s. dont worry I wont post any potty training pictures!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-21114030150108663872010-12-04T19:43:00.000-08:002010-12-04T19:57:55.684-08:00Kitties<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 318px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsNl-ypU5I/AAAAAAAAAQ8/d-vT6bKeWyk/s320/041.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547042312198640530" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsNlvXvfrI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/KhGT-yN5eh8/s320/019.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547042308059266738" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsNlaYzGqI/AAAAAAAAAQs/XM81s0GJaCo/s320/005.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547042302426552994" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsNlGv6DRI/AAAAAAAAAQk/lQjGHQwVQic/s320/007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547042297154768146" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 197px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsNk5EbVHI/AAAAAAAAAQc/ObajdXg4mJE/s320/001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547042293482738802" />
Bogey and Mae Mobley have become part of the family. They love to snuggle up with us, watch the snow from the glass door in the kitchen, climb the Christmas tree and beg for milk. The kids were both sick with the flu and they were very affectionate with both the kids. Beckett got better a lot faster than Rylee and the kittens never left her side. It was so sweet.
Dewey is still around and we love her too. We still don't know who she belongs to or if she really is pregnant. She is waiting for us at the door in the morning and comes back throughout the day. She is here all night too and has been sleeping in the garage since it has gotten colder. Her and Bogey seem to be in love. You can tell from the pictures that they are fond of each other. They just lay up against the sliding glass door or purr at each other. Mae Mobley just hisses at Dewey but she's harmless. I have tried to get them to meet fur to fur but Dewey is skiddish and runs away. She likes to keep people guessing. She's my kinda gal ;) We were a happy home before the kittens but having them in the house has made us all a little happier and has just added to the love. The kids have learned to care for a pet(s) and they like to help out with the food and water--even for Dewey. They have learned to be patient and careful and gentle...Beckett hasn't asked to punch one of the cats in a while and has never acted on it. He has pulled a tail a few times but Bogey objected last time and I think he learned his lesson.

Now if I could just get one of them to clean out the litter box...The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-48092335534155686712010-12-04T19:10:00.001-08:002010-12-04T20:07:49.593-08:00what a week!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsKIQW-F4I/AAAAAAAAAQU/L3-McseprgI/s320/045.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547038502983440258" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsKIK3KA5I/AAAAAAAAAQM/ZG3ltig64Gc/s320/035.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547038501507826578" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 246px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsKH2BkkBI/AAAAAAAAAQE/aAoE_GetiDc/s320/027.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547038495914364946" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsKHp-RYfI/AAAAAAAAAP8/TvedQLT0qxo/s320/014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547038492679299570" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TPsKHkqwXWI/AAAAAAAAAP0/nNZjyRcYHCI/s320/018.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5547038491255266658" />
Here is a recap of the week following Thanksgiving ! It's been NUTS.

1.) I braved the Black Friday crowds and made it home in one piece!
2.) I was a back up sitter Monday and Tuesday and had 7 kids here!
3.) On day two of extra kids, a closet door fell on my first born child and she was rushed to the doctors office for what I thought for sure would be stitches.
4.) Thank goodness for Wendy being so flexible and both Wendy and Mamaw for staying with the kids so I could take said child to the dr.!
5.)Thank the good LORD above, she only had to get "dermabond" on her ouchie and it is healing nicely
6.) my first born child is a lot braver than me I bawled like a baby...for two days off and on.
7.) okay it may have been two and half days straight.
8.) Thursday our 2nd born child woke at 2 a.m. with the flu
9.) Our already wounded but very brave first born child started throwing up at 11:00 a.m. and continued to get sick until about 9:00 p.m.
10.) The kittens both loved on the kids when they were sick. They rarely left Rylee's side.
11.) I cried some more because I felt bad for them. Especially Rylee who had been through so much already this week!
12.) The kids bounced back Friday afternoon but their appetite is still not up to par.
13.) Today (Saturday) the SNOW made them so happy! We went sledding at the Country Club for a whole 7 minutes before we decided maybe we should just go home and play in the backyard.
14.) we played in the snow and let the kittens out in it to see what they would do. They weren't fond of it. at all.
15.) Rylee spent 2 hours at the kitchen table tonight recreating the illustrations out of a book she likes to read. It was very detailed and she did such a good job!
16.) Beckett didn't run away from MALL SANTA today! He ran up to him and said "I want a Batman and an Iron Man" Rylee said she wanted a Dora Dollhouse. . . Guess I'm taking back the roller skates she said she wanted last week...
17.)I'm pretty sure the stray cat that we love is knocked up. this is a problem because a.) we have 2 cats already and b.) its the winter so every time she comes up to the door I am trying new ways to trick her into the garage so I know she is warm. It helps me sleep better at night. It worked for 3 straight nights.
18.) Bogey is in love with Dewey so I think I need to call the vet and get our cats fixed...
19.) Cassie moved back to STL and I miss her already.
20.) I have 90% of my Christmas shopping done!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-34499785584862208212010-11-22T19:21:00.000-08:002010-11-22T19:32:01.911-08:00Skating with the Celebrylee's<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOs0pvvOG1I/AAAAAAAAAPs/Kj3BPjGkPRg/s320/skating%2B3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5542581658203331410" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOs0pUjkgQI/AAAAAAAAAPk/-nz6noMD4GI/s320/skating%2B2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5542581650906710274" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 122px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOs0o2uCOwI/AAAAAAAAAPc/yAVknt-37mU/s320/skating.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5542581642897537794" />
Skating with the Celebrities began tonight. I was only excited because I like Bethenny Frankel but Frankel-y ( see what I did there? Nice word play, huh?) I didn't make it past the first couple of minutes because it was more like a sideshow of Bravo Reality Series Audition rejects. Especially the judges.. . yech!
Anyway--Rylee was pretty excited to see the ice skaters because skating has become her new obsession. This obsession started last month when mom and I took her to "Disney Princesses on Ice." Anyway, she was happy to see the skating but she was more excited to act it all out. So--the pictures above show what Miss Rylee came up with after seeing the first skaters outfit.
Yes, that is an Ariel bathing suit bottom, a Sleeping Beauty dress up top, high heel shoes, a headband and a magic wand!
Don't mind Beckett in the background with the Cinderella high heels those were his "ice skates" he was in to it because of the loud noise he could make with his "skates" in the kitchen--OF COURSE!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-88027161390000972352010-11-18T05:21:00.000-08:002010-11-18T05:43:42.226-08:00A kitten update<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOUqszoGsuI/AAAAAAAAAPU/L62Lnh9a8hs/s320/Bogey%2Bon%2BRylees%2Bbed.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540881865810293474" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOUqsshIY4I/AAAAAAAAAPM/UnEgyOh6SUk/s320/Beckett%2Band%2BMae.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540881863901995906" />
Bogey and Mae Mobley are doing well! They are both really good cats and so far--no shedding which I LOVE. They usually start to let us know they are awake around 6:30 A.M. one of us feeds them and lets them digest before the kids wake up and start chasing them around. Mae Mobely is still the more active/ornery one. She likes to chase, hunt, jump and get toes. She is really loving when she wants to be though. At least once a night she will find someones lap to settle down on from about 5 to 6:30 and take a little nap. Last night she chose Becketts lap. He was so happy! I snapped some pictures of the two orneriest people in our house snuggling together.
Bogey is very laid back. He is playful at different times of the day but he most enjoys observing and finding places to take naps on that arent near any of the four children that love him to bits! He is more snuggly than Mae Mobley and likes to be carried like a baby a lot. Rylee eats that up of course!
Dewey is still around too! She greets us every morning on our steps and every night before dark she pops up to eat again. There was a good stretch of time where she just hung out in our backyard all day but now that it has gotten colder, she must have found a place to keep warm because she only comes around about twice a day. She loves to watch us through the glass door. We get to pet her now which was a HUGE deal here the first time it happened. Bogey loves her and stares at her and presses his body up against the window. Mae, hisses at her because Mae thinks shes a huge lion.
Anyway, that is what's going on with the kitties lately!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-57210343057795614762010-11-16T04:38:00.000-08:002010-11-16T04:51:20.557-08:00We are "Uncle" and "Aunt" now<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOJ-Nqyn0CI/AAAAAAAAAPE/-gvLnaZjP44/s320/005%2B%25282%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540129264909144098" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOJ-NdSVRGI/AAAAAAAAAO8/JaTuFs-GyMw/s320/006%2B%25282%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540129261284050018" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOJ-MdGqdAI/AAAAAAAAAO0/Mq6Wp4EfT3o/s320/004%2B%25282%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540129244055237634" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TOJ-MAxQ3sI/AAAAAAAAAOs/XOgPXJw1PCw/s320/003%2B%25282%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540129236449287874" />
Sarah and Jeremy have now joined us in the "Parents Club!" She was induced yesterday and after a looonng day Kasen Jeremy "KJ" arrived a little after 7 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. even and is 20 inches long. Josh and I were lucky enough to be in the waiting room when he arrived and got to meet our nephew about an hour after he came into the world. He was very cuddly and sweet and for a minute I thought about running off with him...but, people tend to look down upon that so I handed him back to his parents. Rylee and Beckett can't wait to meet him, when they all get home from the hospital and "settled."
The holidays will be a lot of fun this year! I had some teachers come up to me and say it was the best one they had seen ;) The students all had a lot of fun with it and in it and I think that is what made it so great! There were 47 cast members and 201 costumes! Because of all this, I was very busy backstage getting the girls in their outfits and making sure no one missed their cues. Rylee LOVED everything about being involved with this! She was very professional about being a train passenger and didn't even wave back at Beckett opening night when she was up there! The cast loved her and were so great with her. She made friendship bracelets backstage and played barbies with the girls. It was a great experience for both of us! I am sad that it is over but I am glad to have some down time!

Now that it has cooled off outside we have been doing a lot of family things inside. The kids LOVE when we build them forts. Last week I built one in Rylee's room and she decided it looked like a rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland. She reinacted the whole movie with helo from costars Beckett and Mackenzie.
It was very cute and made me wish I was a kid again with that kind of imagination!

Reading books at night has always been a bit of a ritual here. Now that Rylee has a few books that she knows from memory she reads to Beckett every night. It is very sweet to see them share their favorite stories together and bond in that way.

The kittens are stll doing well. They are growing quickly! Bogey is a snuggler. He loves to be on a lap--when he is tired he enjoys curling up on Josh's shoulder. Mae Mobley only rests for short periods of time and usually hide under Beckett's bed when she's tired. She is a sweetheart too but she has a little more attitude. She always starts the "fights" between her and Bogey and is always trying to chase and jump. It is a lot of fun to watch the kids interact with them! There is never a dull moment here in the Mosier House :)The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-76792383818948312082010-11-01T08:27:00.000-07:002010-11-01T08:36:04.068-07:00Trick or Treating<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TM7eWgwNrHI/AAAAAAAAAN8/mNgG9I3Ov1U/s320/cousins+2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534605470415563890" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TM7eWb8ch2I/AAAAAAAAAN0/nCAke9ML-pc/s320/papaw+and+the+kids.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534605469124691810" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TM7eWAYfwAI/AAAAAAAAANs/-t8gJpKA7gI/s320/rylee+sunday+school+class.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534605461726150658" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TM7eV8gx8zI/AAAAAAAAANk/bb-mUrykOgs/s320/beckett+at+mamaws.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534605460687156018" />
The kids got to get in their halloween costumes first thing yesterday. Their Sunday School class sang at church all dressed up in their get ups. Beckett didn't want to dress up at all. He was Buzz Lightyear this year and was pretty excited about it at first but then when the time came to put his costume on-- he was not having it. I finally bribed him with a Twix bar at 9:00 in the morning so that we could ge thim dressed and ready for church by 9:30-- yeah, I'm a horrible mother for giving him chocolate that early but it was the last resort and it worked!
Later that evening we went trick or treating. We started at Mamaw and Papaws, went to Unlce Lester and Aunt Kathy's, stopped by Granny's spooky house and ventured across the street to see baby Nevaeh. Nevaeh and Beckett just stared at each other in their costumes. Nevaeh couldn't figure him out :) She was a cute little monkey and seemed to enjoy playing with wrapped candy :) After that, it was dark by then and getting cold. Beckett was about over this whole halloween deal so we decided to stop by Mawmaw and Pawpaw Tractors house and call it a night!

Oh, and sidenote: I was so mad at my camera for taking such crappy pictures. So Josh, if you are reading this, all I want for Christmas is a camera that works! ;)

I cannot believe that October is over but I am getting so excited for the Holiday season!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-78852106090386352942010-10-26T05:07:00.000-07:002010-11-01T08:27:27.081-07:00Pumpkin Painting Party...<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TMbqPw6LPNI/AAAAAAAAANc/u-OhPyD5IUE/s320/032.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532366748819078354" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TMbqPaqeMcI/AAAAAAAAANU/dN1pA8vEWpc/s320/021.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532366742847631810" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TMbqPP2R8WI/AAAAAAAAANM/C-BbNJE722c/s320/020.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532366739944370530" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TMbqO8M1zUI/AAAAAAAAANE/mym7RhwjP8s/s320/009+(2).JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532366734670286146" />
at the Park!

Since Pre-K started up in September, some of the other moms and I have been wanting to get together for a playdate. I thought it would be nice to get everyone together for some pumpkin painting! Everyone was required to B.Y.O.P (bring your own pumpkin) and a little something to decorate with if they chose to do more than paint. There was quite the turn out and although it was a windy day, it was sunny and the kids had a blast painting and playing and eating.
I made some little ghost cookies, pumpkin whoopie pies, and some mummy hotdogs to snack on. We had kids painting pumpkins to look like witches (Beckett),we and cats, strawberries (Rylee did that--for strawberry shortcake of course) and some that just wanted to stick stickers and dump glitter on top. They all turned out really cute and it was such a fun morning!

Oh and on a completely different topic --we have to take the kittens in to the vet to get declawed this morning. Let's all pray this is a smooth drop off. Rylee was already in tears about it last night. She suddenly realized they weren't going to be able to come home until Thursday. If you could see her little hands, all scratched up from not letting the kittens get down when they want down, you would think she would be okay with them getting declawed. However, she is having a hard time with the fact that she wont be able to snuggle with them for a couple of days!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252896050740824847.post-6379309747349248672010-10-12T07:29:00.000-07:002010-10-12T07:50:00.468-07:00Our Kittens<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 272px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TLR07mAxI5I/AAAAAAAAAMU/0_IaANqr2cs/s320/008.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527171209855312786" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TLR07Shx0vI/AAAAAAAAAMM/AWSGfHG83U8/s320/035.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527171204625060594" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TLR06nTnPDI/AAAAAAAAAME/popRmv-PjCY/s320/032.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527171193022921778" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TLR06ckre2I/AAAAAAAAAL8/vRtVIoVcE1s/s320/012.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527171190141713250" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 307px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mpppdI5xSfY/TLR06BM6AKI/AAAAAAAAAL0/Yj9HGUBV0OI/s320/007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527171182794244258" />
The kids finally convinced us that it was time to get a pet kitten. Aunt Roxannes cats had each had a litter so we took the kids over to her farm last night to pick out one kitten. Big sister wanted a girl cat and little brother wanted a boy cat. We decided we would just let them pick one and we wouldnt tell them if it was a boy or a girl...see we were thinking! As soon as we walked in -- "Princess" as Aunt Roxanne had called her, ran over to us. She is 7 weeks old and was abandoned by her mommy when she was very little. Aunt Roxanne worked with her and this little fighter survived and started to nurse off of another mommy cat who had just had kitties too. Rylee immediately took to this fiesty little sweetheart! Beckett on the other hand ran right to a tuxedo kitten with a really cute white mark around its leg. There were 2 other kittens that were also black and white but Beckett loved this ONE and he kept telling me when I would put it down "no, mommy dont put that down that kitten is coming home with me" ... Then Rylee said "No mommy I want this one...she's a girl!" well after about 30 minutes Josh finally said "just put em both in the truck" :) And so that is how our kids suckered us in to getting 2 kittens. A girl and a boy. We named the boy Bogey and the girl Mae Mobley. Bogey is a golf referance and Mae Mobley is a character in the book "The Help" who has a lot of the same traits and personality as our fighter of a kitten.
Bogey is very snuggly. He prefers to be on our chest or shoulder and he purrs all the time. He also likes his belly rubbed and is very patient with Mae Mobley when she's tackling him and chasing his tail. Mae Mobley loves to follow toes and is always looking for something to chase or tackle. She is fiesty but very sweet. She likes when we pet her and she enjoys being the center of attention. Because she was abandoned she always acts like her next meal is her last one so she will growl at Bogey ( yes growl!! ) if he tries to intervene. We will be getting him his own bowl today :) she's territorial for sure! and he is such a gentleman :)

Both kittens are litter trained thank goodness! They took to their litter box here like pros! The only meowed for us once and that was when Josh's alarm clock went off this morning. They were ready to play! The kids are doing really well with them. They know when the kitties are done being held and played with so they back off which is great for us and them ! We will keep you updated! I will try to post pics of the kids with them once I can get the four of them to sit still!The Mosier Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14816463572242378680noreply@blogger.com0
